Tender description

This Request for Tender includes the provision of the following services: • Supply of sufficient Multi-functional Devices (MFDs) – Print, Copy, Scan, Fax, Finishing – to provide approximately 75% of the total print capacity of the Council, All print capacity to be a minimum of black and white and colour, A3 and A4 format, with in line collating and perfecting unless expressly agreed by the Council. • Installation and Commissioning of the MFDs. • On going support, management and servicing of the MFDs provided under this contract for the life of this contract. • Supply of all consumables for the MFDs with the exception of paper. • Floor servicing of the MFDs supplied through the presence of an on site maintenance and support technician. • The supply of MFD print capacity for the Council’s on site print room under the same terms and conditions of the floor MFDs described above. • Management of the operational personnel required for the Print Room. • Print Management software solution for the control of print across all devices installed including those within the Print Room Facility. • (Optional) move of Print Room capacity to an agreed offsite facility. Out of Scope: • A0 or large format printing, speciality plotters. • Office desktop scanning or large format scanning services. • Office facsimile services. • Speciality litho print services.
