Burlish Top Scrub Removal Works

Tender description

The works are to remove scrub from the site. The aim of the project is to create approximately 1.2ha of additional acid grassland habitat. At the end of the proposed clearance operation we require the area to be in a condition whereby we can manage it in the future using a combination of Cut/collect flail mowing, trailed weedwiping and grazing. For this to be achievable, the area must be free of holes and stumps. To enable the return of the acid grassland, as much of the potential nutrient (in the form of leaf mulch, ash etc), must be removed.
