1266/280/EML/N/15 Phased Array System The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for supply to the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe in Rotherham. Use and Description The objective is to purchase a portable PA acquisition unit and the relevant probes and scanners to carry out inspection austenitic welds using dual matrix array probes. Specification of Requirement: The acquisition unit should be able to drive 128 Elements with support for 32 Active pulsers/32 receivers at anyone time for PA and be capable of collection data for a pair of TOFD probes simultaneously. Tenderers submission should also include the supply of probes and wedges below for PA testing of welds. Tender Process and Documentation: This is an open sub threshold exercise.
