Summary The National Employment Savings Trust (“NEST”) is a defined contribution trust based occupational pension scheme and is a qualifying scheme for auto-enrolment purposes under the Pensions Act 2008. Description NEST is seeking to appoint a UK based & FCA regulated Insurance Provider for its Group Death in Service Scheme and Group Critical Illness Scheme. Provision of Group Death in Service for approximately 250 lives and Group Critical Illness Insurance Cover for approximately 170 lives. The Death in Service Scheme needs to provide financial support to delegated beneficiaries in the event of an employee’s death whilst in service. The Critical Illness Scheme needs to provide protection should an employee be diagnosed with a defined critical illness. The policies will be managed by the Insurance Broker acting on behalf of NEST Corporation.
