Tender description
In March 2012, the Department of Health announced the deadlines for the period of time individuals could claim a review of retrospective eligibility for NHS Continuing Healthcare. This resulted in an unprecedented volume of cases logged with NHS organisations. Recently NHS England has released guidance to Clinical Commissioning Groups for the completion of the legacy retrospective review cases by March 2017. Across the Authority’s footprint, this target date has been implemented differently and to ensure that the demand is met, the Authority requires a Provider to support in delivering the retrospective review service. The CSU intends to identify through this tender, provider(s) who can complete assessments for all retrospective PUPOC review cases as per the specification for each Lot. This procurement is split into two lots as detailed below: Lot 1: Staffordshire Strategic Area : Needs Portrayal and Decision Support Tool (DST) Lot 2: Wide Strategic Area : Needs Portrayal
