Producing and Project Management for the Music Programme for Hull 2017

Tender description

The Hull UK City of Culture team is seeking expressions of interest from Creative Producers or Creative Event Production Companies to work closely with us to produce and deliver the live music programme for Hull UK City of Culture 2017, helping us to deliver a year-long cross genre programme of events and festivals across the City in established venues; public spaces, both greenfield and urban; and found spaces. Hull has a rich musical heritage and enjoys a thriving scene; from well-loved festivals to great venues delivering year-round programmes with everything from classical to Hip Hop on offer, music is at the heart of the cultural offer of the city. The music programme for 2017 will build on that existing offer, giving audiences opportunity to experience the very best new and established artists from across genres in existing venues and unique locations. It will deliver new festivals and support existing ones; it will leave both audiences and those currently working to engage those audiences, in a stronger position post- 2017.
