Enhancement of User Worked Level Crossings

Iarnród Éireann is looking for suitable companies to assist in providing technological solutions to improve the operation of our User Worked Level Crossings. It is envisaged that this will be through the provision of technological solutions which will be developed and installed at level crossings to aid the level crossing user in his operation of the crossing in conjunction with current requirements. The project will consist of two phases: Phase 1: The design of solutions for the various types of crossings, the installation of these solutions at trial sites, the successful integration of these sites into our infrastructure, the monitoring and development of the sites and the full approvals process to gain acceptance from the Railway Safety Commission. Phase 2: The roll-out of the approved solutions and system maintenance.
