Tender description

The Metropolitan Borough Council of Sandwell is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and competent Providers of stop smoking services. The aim of our service is to provide a high quality, equitable and accessible treatment service to smokers that reside, work or are registered with GP Practices in Sandwell. Service delivery will consist of facilitating engagements of stakeholders in service developments; providing quality support and high standard training to frontline clinical and community staff to deliver brief interventions and make referrals; assessing the needs of those referred or that self-refer; providing evidence-based, highly effective & personalised support that include motivational, behavioural and/or pharmacological interventions to service users; capturing & appropriately sharing relevant data for population health improvement and intelligence gathering. This will be a 24 month contract with the option for a 12 month extension. The ITT document is a PDF version for information only.
