Tender description

The Department for Transport, International Capacity Development is a small team within aviation security that delivers equipment and training overseas to airports that have direct flights to the UK. The following procurement exercise is to enable the DfT to provide overseas locations with equipment to further increase their screening ability through test pieces, and screening equipment. The requirement is to enhance passenger and air cargo security at priority last points of departure through test pieces to ensure that the screening equipment used is fit for purpose and also screening equipment to ensure that the threat to aviation is being mitigated.
