Provision of Insurance Related Services for Thanet District Council

Thanet District Council is seeking a supplier for the provision of Insurance related services . IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The contract notice and full suite of procurement documents will be made available 1400hrs 9th September via the Kent Business Portal, www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk. Suppliers must in the first instance register on the portal following instructions provided. Once registered suppliers must express interest (EOI) against the contract notice. Following EOI, suppliers must download all procurement documentation attached to the contract opportunity/notice which contains full instructions as to completion and hard copy submission. The Contract opportunity is divided into 13 lots: Lot 1) Property Non Life Insurance Services - Material damage Lot 2) Property Non Life Insurance Services - Material Damage, Business Interruption, Money and Specified All Risks Lot 3) Property Non Life Insurance Services - Fine Art Lot 4) Property Non Life Insurance Services - Property Owners Lot 5) Property Non Life Insurance Services - Contractors All Risks Lot 6) Property Non Life Insurance Services - Terrorism Lot 7) Casualty Non Life Insurance Services - Employers Liability, Public/Products Liability, Officials Indemnity, Libel & Slander, Land Charges, Professional Negligence, Public Health Act and Hirers Liability Lot 8) Pecuniary Non Life Insurance Services - Fidelity Guarantee Lot 9) Property Non Life Insurance Services - Computer Lot 10) Accident Non Life Insurance Services - Personal Accident and Business Travel Lot 11) Engineering Non Life Insurance Services - Engineering Inspection and Insurance Lot 12) Motor Non Life Insurance Services - Motor Fleet Lot 13) Marine Non Life Insurance Services - Marine (Ramsgate Harbour) related insurance services Full details are contained within the ITT. Contract is for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 year period or a one year plus a further one year period (5 year total), or for five years with an option to extend for a further 2 year period or a one plus a further one year period (7 years in total). The contract will commence on 1 January 2016. This tender is open only to insurance companies regulated by the Financial Services and Market Act 2000, Insurance Companies Act 1982 and any other statutory modifications thereof. This competition is not and does not include a requirement for insurance broking services and therefore bids in this regard (for broking services) will not be accepted or considered.
