Tender description

The Parks Department and key stakeholders, including the Millfields Park User Group, have decided to remove the remaining railings and layby because they dissect the park and have a negative impact accessibility, aesthetic and character. The proposed scope of work was subject to consultation and the key stakeholders voted in favour of the work taking place. The removal of the layby will not only improve the flow of users through the park, and the appearance of the park it will also make the area more accessible for Parks maintenance vehicles and therefore make it easier for Parks staff to carry out their duties.
