Winter Hats

CNC police officers are provided with a set of uniform clothing which includes a selection of headwear suitable for a range of activities / deployments. The primary role of CNC operational officer is as authorised firearms officers (AFO). CNC AFOs are issued with ballistic helmets for armed deployment, a winter hat with ear guards for cold weather and a lighter ski cap for all other times. CNC AFO’s patrol in all weather conditions and require hardwearing, durable and comfortable clothing and equipment in order to do their job effectively. This RFP is to identify one supplier for the provision of Winter Hats. Whilst we make no commitment to specific order quantities, we anticipate a total requirement of approximately 900 Winter Hats over the three year period. This would be split between an anticipated requirement of 150 per year x three years for our new recruits and ad-hoc replacements of 150 per year x three years.
