RFI for Carpal Tunnel Services in North East Essex

Tender description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) published on behalf of NHS North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). With this RFI North East Essex CCG is seeking to learn the level of possible interest from organisations in relation to providing a service for the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. The same information will be gathered from different organisations to inform our service model and future procurement plan. The CCG is seeking to commission a high quality, timely and accessible service to NHS patients that will focus on patient outcomes in line with NICE guidelines. The successful provider will receive referrals from primary care and will have access to accredited clinicians to administer steroid injections and perform surgical decompression of the nerve. The Provider will also provide or have access to electromyography (EMG) tests where further diagnostics are required and will deliver these services from CQC compliant facilities within the Colchester/Tendring area of North East Essex.
