Tender description
the provision of a service to include the following: - bi-annual on-site vulnerability test of the Internet-connected networks of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) and of the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources (DCENR): the networks are hosted in the DAFM office, Agriculture House, Kildare St. Dublin 2 and the offices of the DCENR in Adelaide Road and in Beggars Bush; - checking for security vulnerabilities and configuration errors caused by system and network maintenance; - a comprehensive on-site analysis of security measures implemented at the DAFM and DCENR’s Internet-connected network and infrastructure, carrying out security diagnostic review of key network devices on that infrastructure. It is envisaged that this review will take place in the first month after awarding of the contract and at six monthly intervals thereafter - the successful Tenderer may also be required from time to time to carry out a security review of certain Internet Facing applications nominated by DAFM or DCENR
