Tender description

The framework seeks to establish an All Wales compliant agreement for the use of fixed and variable concentration oxygen therapy, aerosol (humidification) therapy and nebulisation therapy. This includes masks, tubing, barrel venturis, humidification water and nasal cannulae. A major addition to the contract will be the compressor which is the power source that pressurises (compresses) the air. Procurement Services aim to standardise practice across Wales, seeking rationalisation of products used, some of which are kept at the NHS stores based at Bridgend, Cardiff, Cwmbran and Denbigh. This tender will also see the incorporation of additional items that have not been part of the previous Purchasing Agreement. There is a requirement for some items to be delivered direct to Health Boards.
