Opportunity Description: 'CapitalEsourcing NQT CPD Framework Agreement Tender Advert The Tri-borough Education Service, representing Westminster City Council, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, is announcing its intention to publish an opportunity to potential suppliers to deliver the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs). The aim of the NQT Service is to support the effective induction of teachers in order to successfully meet the Teachers’ Standards at the required level, by the end of the induction period (usually one academic year in length on a full-time basis). Successful suppliers will be appointed to a Framework Agreement for a period up to four years, anticipated to commence from 1st September 2015. The respective Authorities will call-off services from the Framework as required. It is anticipated that there will be a high degree of regular work and a regular volume of comprehensive training programme activities year-on-year, for the whole life of the Framework. The appointed suppliers shall provide a bespoke programme of centrally delivered training (to include planning and preparation) for NQTs within the three boroughs in the following areas of teaching: • Subject specialist provision • Core pedagogy and assessment • Inclusion, inter-personal and professional skills, and legislative and other requirements • Early Years provision for Early Years and Foundation Stage NQTs The anticipated publication date for this tender is 23rd March 2015. The Authority will be holding an NQT CPD Tender Open Day on 6th March 2015 to provide information and advice to parties that are interested in submitting a bid.
