Tender description

Prime purpose is to ensure our LGV drivers are legally compliant with Driver Certificates of Professional Competence (DCPC) Regulations 2007. Objectives are as detailed by JAUPT. Learning outcomes are: our LGV drivers are competent, they understand legislative changes, how to ensure safe vehicles and compliance with our Operational instructions We are looking for a single provider who can offer 5 new modules. Drivers have already completed these 5 modules in the first round of DCPC ending Sept 2014: Vehicle safety, O licence compliance, driving values, Road legal, Safety first. The training provider, who must be approved by Joint Approvals for Periodic Training (JAUPT) will work with us to tailor modules to our specific needs, such as tachograph exemption and domestic hours working. We require our training provider to keep an accurate record of attendance and assessments, to provide us with any MI requested at 6 monthly intervals, and to upload driver details to DVSA.
