Evaluation of Science Foundation Ireland/Enterprise Ireland Technology Innovation Development Award (TIDA) Programme

Tender description

The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to select a company to conduct an evaluation of the Science Foundation Ireland (SFI)/Enterprise Ireland (EI) Technology Innovation Development Award (TIDA) programme and the funding awarded under this programme from the years 2009–2014 inclusive. The SFI/EI TIDA programme has been in operation since 2009 and has evolved year on year with regard to investment, scope and objectives. The main component of the TIDA programme is the Feasibility Study award which enables researchers to focus on the first steps of an applied research project which may have a commercial benefit if further developed. The second focus of the TIDA programme is the entrepreneurship training programme. The design and operation of this course was tendered by SFI in 2009 and was issued to the DCU Ryan Academy.
