Professional Advice to Support Implementation of new finance and procurement system

Tender description

Since its introduction in 2008, SCC has been using Oracle Enterprise One (OEO) as its finance, accounting and procurement system. Due to its complexity OEO requires support from a specialist provider and this therefore currently sits outside the Councils Capita (outsourced managed service provider) contract. The OEO system is in need of an upgrade to remain in Oracles premier support although for the extra cost it will not bring enhanced functionality and may also trigger increased licence and running costs. SCC's Cabinet has now approved the replacement of the current footprint of OEO by implementing a new integrated finance and procurement system (Capita IBS Integra) with enhanced functionality and e-trading capabilities. A Specialist Consultant Resource (SCR) is required to provide advice to support the implemenation of the new system.
