Tender description

The Borough of Poole School Monitoring and Intervention Team provide monitoring and intervention services for all maintained schools and academies in Poole as well as training for School Governors. There is a clear vision for Education in Poole supported by a strong School Improvement Strategy. The team of advisers provide effective challenge and support to schools and governing bodies within the context of a School monitoring and Intervention policy. Support to schools is agreed in partnership with schools and academies and provided accordingly. The Governor Services Adviser runs an extensive programme of training courses. Some of these, such as safeguarding and health & safety are delivered by in-house suppliers. Other more specialist courses require expertise in areas such as school inspection, self evaluation, and governor effectiveness. The team is looking for persons with a proven track record of effectively working with schools and academies or delivering and developing specialist courses to join an approved list of suppliers for 2 different lots (see section 2 - Service Requirement/Specification)
