Sandwell MBC Environmental Health is looking to procure a 1 year Service and Maintenance Contract for four air quality monitoring stations, to include the repair and replacement of a number of analyser components at the outset of the contract. UPDATE 27/08/15 We would like to advise you that there have been 3 minor amendments to the contract specification for the Provision of Servicing Maintenance and Breakdown Contract for Sandwell Council’s Air Quality Monitoring Stations. (Amendment Date 27 August 2015) We would like to apologise for the very late amendments to the contract and hope that it will not affect your ability to submit a quotation for the provision of the services. The deadline remains 17:00 hours 28 August 2015. Please see the revised contract specification attached. Following discussions with Sandwell Council Procurement department, the following amendments have been made to the contract specification: 1. Section 6.2 (Page 25) - Wording has been updated to the following: 'The total price shall include scheduled servicing, breakdown cover (including installed air conditioning) spare parts and supply of consumables.' 2. Section 3.4 Payment Terms – Wording has been updated to the following: ‘Payment for the supply of replacement parts, full service kits, repair of equipment and labour charges detailed in Section 4.3 will be made following satisfactory completion of the works at the commencement of the contract. Payment for the supply of the service/maintenance/breakdown contract detailed in Section 5.1 shall be made either 6-monthly or Quarterly, with the first instalment at the commencement of the contract and at the selected intervals thereafter.’ 3. Section 7.0 – Questionnaire – Wording of the Payment Terms has been updated to reflect Section 3.4 above and now includes the requirement to select the preferred payment schedule for the service/maintenance/breakdown contract (i.e. 6-monthly or Quarterly) I hope the amendments to the contract detailed above will be satisfactory to yourselves and we look forward to receiving a quotation by the deadline.
