Tender description
Public Health commissioners from NHS England - North, in collaboration with Public Health England (PHE) and North of England Commissioning Support (NECS), are hosting a stakeholder engagement event to discuss the current and future commissioning and provision of Diabetic Eye Screening (DES) in the North region. This facilitated event will be held on 11th September 2015 from 10:00am until 3:45pm, and will take place in: The Nicky Chapman Suite Leeds United Football Club Elland Road Leeds LS11 0ES The event is open to providers and potential future bidders of DES programmes in the UK. To express an interest in attending this event:Please register on the electronic tendering portal, which can be found at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/necs.Once registered, you will be able to view details of the stakeholder event by selecting the “Tenders” tab, and then selecting “Forthcoming”, scroll down through the opportunities list until you come to “Stakeholder Engagement Event Diabetic Eye Screening – North". To view further information regarding this event, click the button marked “View Details”. From this area, you will be able to express your interest in this event by selecting the button marked “Express Interest”. Once an expression of interest has been registered, organisations will be able to book a place at the event and view an agenda for the day. PLEASE NOTE: Organisations are required to book a place at this event; the deadline to book a place is 12 noon on Wednesday 9th September 2015, 2 places per organisations will be offered initially. The itinerary for the event is in two distinct parts. The first will focus upon the service specification, and allow all stakeholders to discuss what is expected by providers when delivering DES Programmes. The second part will consider the invitation to tender and procurement process, providing an outline of what constitutes a successful bid, whilst also affording all the opportunity to discuss any experiences and learning from previous bidding.
