Tender description

Scaffolding required for Responsive Maintenance (including Emergency Works ordered during Normal Working Hours); Out of Hours Emergency Works; Scaffolding required for Major Works; Scaffolding required for Void Property Works; The Service Provider will be required to co-ordinate his activities with those of the Client's Direct Labour Organisation and with other contractor's employed by the Client Orders may be placed in respect to Works to: Tenanted properties; Internal and External Communal Areas (including garages, bin stores, refuse chambers and the like); Managed Leasehold; Sheltered Housing; Supported Housing; Market Rent; and Other tenures. Orders will be placed throughout the Contract Period for Works to individual Properties. Or blocks of Properties, Properties are likely to be occupied by Customers of the Client whilst the Works are undertaken. Works may take place to any or all of the Properties. The Client expe cts the same high levels of satisfaction with the Works to be enjoyed across all ethnic groups. This will be the subject of regular review throughout the Contract Period and action will be required where necessary. Whilst the Contract is initially to undertake the maintenance of the dwellings owned and managed by the Client, the Client retains the right to incorporate into the Contract the housing stock of any other organisation that it currently acts or in future may act as the managing agent for, and also to incorporate any additional housing stock they may acquire by development, stock transfer or acquisition into the Contract. Only Tenderers, which meet the necessary minimum standards required under the suitability assessment, will have their bids considered further. The assessment includes an evaluation of bidders suitability, capability, legal status and financial standing. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in Regulation 111 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the Regulations). As a minimum under the suitability asessment your organisation must be a full member of The National Access And Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) and have a minimum average turnover over 3 years of £1.2 Million.
