Tender description

Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) wishes to work with Service Users and Providers to create an additional arrangement for providers of home care services countrywide to sit alongside the current Personal Support and Care Services Framework. The Indicative tender is for additional requirements to provide additional home care capacity within Northamptonshire. It is envisaged that the additional providers will be engaged to deliver home care support where the existing group of Framework providers have insufficient capacity to deliver services on time and maximise the available capacity under the current Framework. Note: Please ignore the Contract Start and End Dates displayed for this opportunity. The actual Start date is 03rd August 2015 and envisaged end date of 31st March 2019. This is the final round of this arrangement and so will be the final opportunity for providers to bid to join the current DPS 2nd Tier arrangement. This round will be open for two weeks, this arrangement will then cease 31 March 2019. However it is anticipated that the NEW home care 2nd Tier arrangement, which will replace this one, is expected to be open to providers mid to late summer and intended to be in place for April 2019.
