Design and Build of Joiners Square Play Area

Tender description

Important note: closing date 07/09/15 at 12 noon. Tenders are invited by Stoke-on-Trent City Council from suitably qualified and experienced companies looking to be appointed as Contractor to carry out a Design and Build service for Joiners Square Play Area for a fixed lump sum. The evaluation will be a two stage process via a Suitability Assessment and a Quality, Technical & Commercial Assessment. You will be asked to demonstrate/submit details of your professional and business standing, financial standing, insurance cover, health and safety, technical experience and competency, and quality assurance. Each Organisation will then be asked how they propose to design and build the play area within the budget as stated. You will be required to submit drawings and details of the product range, play value, age range, guarantees, delivery, contract sum analysis, etc. The form of contract will be the JCT Design and Build contract 2011. The contract will be awarded to the bidder that achieves the highest quality score. Information will be available issued the day following close of this advert.
