Tender description

NHS Hammersmith & Fulham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is commissioning a high quality, consultant-led integrated community cardiology and respiratory service for the residents of the Hammersmith & Fulham CCG. Aims of the Service The service aims to deliver an accessible, efficient, cost-effective service managing the majority of diagnostics and outpatient activity within primary and community care settings. The service supports the Out of Hospital ambitions of the CCG for the development of integrated pathways of care across health and social care, transforming care pathways by shifting care from acute to community and primary care settings where appropriate, avoiding hospital admissions if appropriate, and improving early discharge. Contract Details The contract to provide the service will last for an initial period of three years commencing from 1st April 2016 with the option for a further two year extension. Procurement Process The Services being procured fall within those health care services to which the NHS (Procurement, Patient Choice and Competition) Regulations 2013 (No.2) relate. As such, the procurement of the Services is not bound by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Rather, the Services to which this Procurement relates fall within Part B of Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (the “Regulations”). The procurement of the Services is being run as a bespoke, single-stage application process akin to the Open Procedure. No terms used through this Procurement or any other indication should be interpreted to mean that the Contracting Authority intends to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations, save those applicable to Part B services. The invitation to tender will be published on 10 August 2015 and will close at noon on 21 September 2015. Bidders must submit their tenders by the closing time and date in order to be considered.
