15-090 Review of RMBC Information Governance

Tender description

MBC require a partner to carry out a detailed audit of its Information Governance arrangements.including, but not necessarily limited to, culture, resourcing, policies and procedures, systems and record management arrangements. The purpose of the review is to: o Confirm Rotherham's compliance with mandatory information related regulations; o Re view existing arrangements to secure and/or maintain compliance; o De tect breaches or potential breaches of compliance; o Ensure appropriate systems, policies and procedures are in place; o Verify that those policies and procedures are being followed; o Test the adequacy of controls in place; o Verify that organisation arrangements are fit for purpose and that roles and responsibilities are understood; o Test the cost effectiveness of existing arrangements; and o Ma ke recommendations for improvement. <b></b> <b>The council is seeking a partner to develop relevant policies, procedures, training and awareness, and auditing tools to facilitate an audit of its information assets. The aim should be to develop appropriate material that services can use to self-audit their own arrangements. </b> <b> </b> <b> </b> <b>The council welcomes proposals that will deliver a low impact, sustainable, process that utilises its existing investment.</b>
