Tender description
NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS Arden & GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS England Midlands and East (East) would like to notify potential interested organisations on the forthcoming procurement exercise and bidder engagement event for the Provision of Primary Medical Services at two Health Centres located in Essex; St Luke’s in Southend on Sea and Thurrock in Grays. The contracts will be procured by the means of two lots: Lot 1 - St Luke’s Health Centre, located within the South East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group. The Local Authority is Southend on Sea Borough Council. Lot 2 - Thurrock Health Centre, located within the Thurrock Clinical Commissioning Group. The Local Authority is Thurrock Council Both of these Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) contracts have an anticipated start date of 1st April 2016. The Service Specification is being developed for both Healthcare Centres and the successful providers will need to demonstrate that they can deliver service(s) to a continuous high quality standard that will be responsive to the needs of the local population. Further information is detailed within the appendices under the ‘Documents’ section below.
