HDC Warmer Homes

Tender description

The Council is inviting tenders for a Warmer homes project. The aim of the project is to provide practical energy saving advice to the Districts residents who are at risk of fuel poverty. The service will offer a mix of community outreach events and home visits with the express intention of reducing fuel poverty and improving energy efficiency. The estimated total contract value is £30,000 and has been provided through Public Health Well Being budget. £30,000 has been provided for the first year, and it is anticipated, but not guaranteed, that this will follow for another year. The duration of the Contract will be for Autumn Winter 2015/16 with options to extend for an additional year depending on available funding and performance. The commencement date for the delivery of these Services is scheduled to be on 19 October 2015. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded for 1 year (to cover the Autumn/Winter months of October 2015 – March 2016) with an option to extend for a further 1 year.
