Emergency Night Shelter Provision

Tender description

Southend on Sea Borough Council Supporting People Team invites tenders from suitably experienced organisations to provide short term emergency access night shelter provision and support for non-statutorily homeless cases. The capped value of this contract is £38,000 for 6 months and Southend Borough Council envisages awarding this contract to a maximum of 1 provider only. However, pending a review of the local homeless strategy we are not able to state what the requirements will be after 1 April 2016. The contract will be for an initial period of 6 months with the option to extend by a further 3 months with a proposed start date of 1st October 2015. Southend Borough Council welcomes submissions from all organisational types, including the Third Sector and Consortia arrangements.
