Portsmouth City Council, ‘The Council’, is seeking to appoint a bidder to supply bibliographic data to Marc 21 standard to maintain the library service catalogue. The library service maintains a bibliographic database within the Library Management System, Civica Spydus, that provides data for: • A potential requirements file for library staff to place orders for new items. • A bibliographic database for staff in all libraries • A library catalogue for both staff and users that lists titles in stock in all libraries The initial contract will be for 2 years with the option to extend in annual increments to a maximum of 5 years, subject to the agreement and performance of both parties.
