Tender description

PHE has a requirement to purchase an automated slide stainer that will stain acid fast bacteria using Carbol fuchsin or Fluorescence reagent. Reagent consumption is low, throughput is high using a 12 slide or 30 slide carousel and slides are dry and ready in 5 mins. There may be a need for purchase of reagents and maintenance/PM servicing going forward. In the first instance this requirement is for our laboratory based in Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham.
