UK Shared Business Services Ltd as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a contract for a Technical Advisor on behalf of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) to provide services to support infrastructure upgrades and other projects in Antarctica and elsewhere. Several of these projects are linked to the procurement of a New Polar Research Vessel (NPRV) which enters service in late 2019 and the ongoing refurbishment of the UK's main Antarctic station at Rothera. Others are part of the ongoing upgrade and operational efficiency programme being driven by BAS. More details can be found within the document set in Emptoris.
