Supply (purchase) of Bulky Waste Shredder with associated Maintenance. Buckinghamshire County Council (BCC or "the council") is seeking a contractor to supply a shredder to shred bulky waste and to provide the on-going maintenance of that shredder. The shredding of bulky waste will enable the resulting waste to be treated at the Council's Energy from Waste Facility. The types of items that will need shredding include, but are not limited to, mattresses, sofas, furniture, garden furniture etc. The bulky waste must be shredded to no bigger than a 240 litre wheelie bin size. There is also the potential for other materials such as wood and garden waste to be shredded. The shredder must be mobile and operated by diesel. The successful contractor will be required to supply, install and maintain the shredder.
