Provision of a joint Risk Management, Quality and Safety System

Tender description

South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Torbay and Southern Devon Health and Care NHS Trust provide a range of health and social care service to residents and visitors in the South Devon area. The two Trusts have a history of working closely together and are at the advanced stages to create one Integrated Care Organisation (ICO). The Trusts currently use different Risk Management, Quality and Safety systems and have a requirement to procure one single system to meet the needs of the new organisation. This system should support not only clinical incidents and risk management, but also corporate risks and issues and project/programme risks and issues through an integrated system. There is requirement for the successful contractor to provide support and training to implement the system as well as provide ongoing maintenance support thereafter. The initial contract will be for 5 years post implementation followed by the option to extend at yearly intervals.
