Replacement Windows and Doors Programme

Tender description

The tender is for the replacement of windows and dwelling entrance doors where required and covers all of Cheltenham Borough Council's (CBC) domestic housing stock and leasehold properties which are managed by Cheltenham Borough Homes (CBH). The housing stock is contained within the Borough of Cheltenham and totals approximately 5000 dwellings of which approximately 50% are contained within blocks no higher than five storeys. In brief this tender includes for: - Providing windows & doors that meet all the requirements of the Contract Documents. - Providing a comprehensive specification and design advisory service to assist CBH with the selection of window and door styles. - Undertaking compliance and measurement surveys. - Providing a first class installation service including the removal and disposal of existing units. - Provision of a comprehensive quality auditing system - Provision of computerised 'as-installed' product schedules The tender contains two lots: Lot 1 - Replacement PVCu windows and PVC-u doors Estimated Total Value - 9-11 million GBP total Lot 2 - Replacement grp composite doors Estimated Total Value - 3.5-4 million GBP total
