Tender description
The scope of the contract includes servicing, repair and maintenance to Air Conditioning & Air Handling Plant within the Council's buildings (excluding domestic housing). The air conditioning and air handling units generally will be serviced twice a year although some sites may require further visits. For works on gas installations, it shall be a condition of the contract that in addition to the necessary skills and workmanship each employee shall have passed the appropriate approved code of practice (ACOP) and be a member of Gas Safe (or equivalent). Certain buildings have air handling units which contain gas firing equipment. It is also a requirement that the contractor must be registered with REFCOM
