PP14086 - Boiler Servicing and Repairs and Kitchen Canopies - 2014

Tender description

The Council intend to let the above contract for a four year term, with facility for a maximum one year extension, subject to rigorous annual satisfaction targets and minimum performance indicators being achieved. Total property portfolio amounts to approximately 300 buildings and addresses with a total 800,000 m sq. floor area. With the current saving and rational plan, this is continually reducing in number. The scope of this contract comprises the repairs, maintenance and servicing to: Oil, Gas and bio-mass boilers. Gas fired vented and un-vented water heaters. Balanced flue gas heaters. High level gas fired ambi-rads, to include all access equipment. An annual Gas tightness test cost, for the complete building gas system installation. Clean kitchen canopies, ducts and motors, followed by testing and commissioning on completion of the cleaning works. It is a condition of the contract that in addition to the necessary skills and workmanship each employee shall have passed the appropriate approved code of practice (ACOP) and be a member of Gas Safe (or equivalent).
