Lincolnshire Sensory Impairment Services

Tender description

Lincolnshire County Council (the Council) will shortly be undertaking a procurement exercise for its Sensory Impairment Services across Lincolnshire. This Service is a Preventative and Reablement Service for both Adults and Children with a Sensory Impairment, both cognitive and acquired, and Associated Disabilities where applicable. The main purpose of this PIN is to enable the Council to initiate a pre-tender engagement process with interested organisations. The Council is keen to undertake pre-tender market engagement and it is hopedthat any feedback gained from suppliers throughout this process will provide a better understanding of the market's preferred approach to a number of important issues impacting on the commercial model. These include the contract duration, market capacity, budget viability, performance management and pricing structure, andcontract mobilisation. To this end; the Council will be undertaking a number of activities which include the following: 1) Hosting a Supplier Engagement Event on Monday 27th July 2015 at the Main Lincolnshire County CouncilOffices in Lincoln. It is intended this session will commence at 10:00 and finish at approximatley 13:00. At this Event Commissioners will present the current position, there will also be an opportunity for networking as well as discussing the issues requiring feedback as stated above.
