Opera Holland Park Costumes public tender advertisement Invitation to Tender – December 2014 The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of Costume Suppliers at Opera Holland Park situated in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The Council (RBKC), as the Contacting Authority, intends to carry out an Open Procedure to award the contract to One Provider on behalf of the following Participating Council owned venue: • Opera Holland Park One provider will be appointed for the 2015 Opera season commencing in January 2015 and ending September 2015. Tenderers must be rated as not higher than average risk of financial failure. The providers appointed to the Approved List will deliver costumes and costume support to Opera Holland Park for the 2015 Opera season. The Council is seeking to meet the following objectives: • Hiring a professional and cost efficient Costumier to provide service for opera Holland Park Season over 15 weeks during the summer. • Hiring a Costumier who can provide a large quantity and variety of costumes for 6 different productions during the 15 week period. • Hiring a Costumier who can enhance the guest experience and uphold the service standards and quality expected of Opera Holland Park. Under the proposed contract costumes will be supplied to the Council under hire arrangements and therefore tenderers must include their hire terms in their submission and these must be compatible with the terms in the proposed contract. The Tender will be run electronically using the CapitalEsourcing e-Tendering system. Tenderers must ensure they adhere to the Invitation to Tender (ITT) Instructions and guidance notes provided when submitting their Tender.
