WSCC LJ Your Energy Sussex (YES) Fund Administration

Your Energy Sussex (YES) is currently working with public and private sector organisations and communities across Sussex, developing projects that will deliver lasting change and economic growth. There is up to £66M available for the Council to borrow via the Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership, some of which will then be offered by the YES Fund to the groups listed below at advantageous interest rates to assist growth in the low carbon energy saving and energy generation space. There is scope to finance projects both large and small for a variety of organisations e.g. • WSCC and other Public Sector bodies • Housing Associations • Community groups already in existence or who have come together to invest in an energy saving project • Not-for-profit organisations • Commercial organisations and landlords • Private householders The Fund Administrator will be required to • Market the opportunity within the YES partnership area • Receive applications • Evaluate the business case, against YES criteria, • Advise applicants regarding the business case. • Advise applicants regarding their financing options • Manage any loan application through an approval process. • Administer the loans throughout their duration. The initial duration of the contract is 3 years with an option to extend for up to 6 years.
