Tender description

The Scope of Work Comprises the procurement, commissioning and handover of a two storey building comprising a four form entry junior school with associated access, car parking and playground facilities. The new 4FE school is intended to be built on and adjacent to existing playing fields bordered one side by a railway line. The Council has a statutory duty to provide school places for all children ages 5-16. The requirement for a new junior school at Wellington is due to exception demand for school places in the borough. The Council are seeking to award a contract for the single stage design and build of a new 4FE Junior school on Sutton Lane Playing fields, Sutton, Middlesex, TW3 4LB The Proposed development will consist of: • A new two storey block with approximate floor area 3000m² • Associated external works, landscaping, incoming services, drainage etc. The Project will be tendered as a single stage Design and Build Contract, with Employers Requirements issued by the Council prepared by Pick Everard, the councils appointed professional advisors.
