Provision of Strategic Communications Support

Guildford Borough Council is looking to commission expert strategic communications advice to support our communications planning for three key projects shaping the future of the Borough. These are the new Local Plan, the development of a Town Centre Masterplan and town centre regeneration. The role will concentrate on these three areas, but will also provide advice on strategic communications and reputation management in relation to other projects and issues as they arise. We need someone for the equivalent of 10 hours per week (although this will vary depending on the status of the different projects) for a period of up to 18 months. We are looking to engage someone with a track record of delivering high quality, excellent value for money communications against measurable outcomes. Any suitably qualified and experienced provider wishing to be considered is invited to submit an expression of interest to stephen.benbough@guildford.gov.uk by Tuesday 28 July 2015, together with details of their experience and expertise in this area of work and a quotation for the cost of providing this service. Selected providers will be invited to attend an evaluation panel for assessment against the following award criteria: (a) technical and professional ability (20%); (b) experience and expertise in delivering outcomes (20%); (c) project approach and methodology (20%); and (d) cost (40%).
