Provision of On-site Housing and Council Benefits Processing Services

Bracknell Council is seeking to create a Framework Agreement for onsite processing support services to complete Housing and Council Benefit claims. The Council’s Benefit Service is currently going through a service redesign and therefore requires the service of experienced Assessment officers to support the service. The Benefit Service deals with all aspects of the benefit claim, from receipt through to payment and, where necessary, the appeals process, recovery process and all anti fraud work. In the last financial year approximately £39m was spent on Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit. The Council caseload is Housing Benefit 6042 and Council Tax Benefit 5865 The Council successfully manages a highly effective Benefit Service which manages the claims processing function. The Contract is a development of this service to deal with variable workloads in the most cost effective way possible.
