Tender description

This Service is for North Derbyshire ONLY PIN Notice - Community Non-Scalpel Vasectomy Service The service will provide a quality and safe no-scalpel technique vasectomy under local anaesthetic, in accordance with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist guidelines, (RCOG), in a primary care setting to all consenting adult males who request it, and are registered with a General Practitioner (GP) within NHS North Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The RCOG guidelines can be found at: http://www.rcog.org.uk/womens-health/clinicalguidance/ male-and-femalesterilisation North Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group is considering a 3 year contract for this service and the procurement process proposed is an AQP (Any Qualified Provider) process with a fixed tariff of £250 per procedure.
