Tender description
Leicestershire County Councils Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Team is seeking to appoint suitably experienced individuals / organisations to a framework for Best Interests Assessors. When a referral for Deprivation of Liberty is made a qualified individual is required to undertake a Best Interests assessment. The DoLS Team currently have an in-house provision of Best Interests Assessors but under certain circumstances will commission the service from an external provider. The resulting framework will provide the DoLS Team with a list of approved suppliers which they can select from based on the specific needs of each individual service user. Applications are welcomed from individuals, or organisations that can provide individuals, with the qualifications and training to undertake Best Interests Assessments within Leicestershire and the surrounding areas.
