Tender description

The University of York Research Grants and Contracts team (RGC), part of Research and Enterprise, administer research grants on behalf of academic departments. In this project, RGC are looking to: • procure and implement a research management and administration system; • replace pFact (which is nearing end of life); • firmly embed the new system in the pre-award grant application process, supporting better working practices by revising business process as required; • improve post award processes by providing better integration between key IT systems; • provide better research budget reporting and management information. This major project will help the University implement its new research strategy, enable research administrators to spend more time on value added activities in support of academic staff, and support any future changes in organisational structure and the location of grant related responsibilities.
