Professional Cleaning Services to the Councils Corporate Buildings

Tender description

The London Borough of Merton is inviting potential suppliers to express an interest for the provision of professional cleaning services for approximately 29 no. of the Authority's buildings including the Civic Centre Offices, Libraries, Youth Centres, Children's and Community Centres etc. The Authority intends to conduct an OJEU Restricted Procurement Process to select a suitable contractor. The tender requires bids from appropriate professional and technically qualified contractors, which will be evaluated against pre-determined criteria. It is the Authority's intention to select one contractor to undertake the entire service as a single contract. The contract will commence on 01/04/16 for a period of 3 years to 31/03/19, and will include a possible extension period of a further 12 months to 31/03/20; this will be applied at the Authority's sole discretion. The total contract value is circa. £1.85m. The Authority will evaluate all tenders received and make a decision to award based on the most economically advantageous tender and reserves the right to award the contract or not at all if it deems it to be in the Authority's best interests. The completed PQQ and any requested documentation must be returned together via the London Tenders Portal by 17:00, 7th August 2015.
