A Procedure Pack is defined as a bundle of single use medical consumables that are contained in asterile package for use during a surgical or a medical procedure. These packs typically include but shall notbe limited to; drapes and gowns swabs blades syringes polyware or any specific single use consumables asurgeon requires to perform the procedure. The specialist areas which these packs may be utilised in may bebut are not limited to; Cardio-vascular; Ear nose and throat (ENT); General and abdominal surgery includinglaparoscopy; Obstetrics and gynaecology; Neurosurgery; Ophthalmology; Orthopaedics; Plastic surgery;Urology; Angiography; Antiseptic skin preparation; Catheterisation; Haemodialysis; Perfusion and IV therapy;Regional anaesthesia; Suturing and wound care packs. The packs can either be (i) bespoke to a customer'sspecific requirements or ii) of a standard specification recognised across the NHS. This Framework Agreement is for 2 years with the option to extend any of the Lots for up to an additional 24months in addition to the initial 2 year term. For the avoidance of doubt this may involve one or more than oneextension to any Lot up to the maximum permitted term.
