3093_15 Community Life Choices and Supported Living Services Refresh 2015

Tender description

In October 2012, to meet the identified outcomes of people with learning disabilities, physical disability, sensory impairment, acquired brain injuries and/or those with Mental health issues, Leicestershire County Council established a framework agreement to provide Community Life Choices throughout Leicestershire and Supported Living Services throughout Leicestershire and Rutland. Community Life Choices (Formerly Day Services) Leicestershire County Council aims to offer a wide range of different Community Life Choices from which individual choices may be made. These services are for the provision of meaningful activities during the daytime. Supported Living Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council aim to offer Supported Living Services to enable vulnerable adults to develop existing skills or acquire new skills to increase their independence in daily living and ultimately meet their desired outcomes as detailed within their individual Support Plan. The framework agreements were let for a 4-year period, but on the basis that they be subject to an annual ‘review and refresh’, in order that (amongst other things) new service providers may apply to be included in the framework.
